This comes as part of the Palestinian factions' response to the Israeli occupation army's efforts to occupy Gaza City and displace its citizens, and as part of the fight against the genocide it has been committing for two years.
The Brigades said in a statement that its fighters "targeted a jeep belonging to a number of undercover soldiers with a landmine near the Bahloul Junction in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood (north) of Gaza City, killing those inside, the day before yesterday, Tuesday."
Musta'ribeen are members of the Israeli special forces who disguise themselves with Middle Eastern features, are fluent in Arabic, and sometimes wear traditional Palestinian clothing to infiltrate the population and carry out security operations.
Since the beginning of its ground incursion into the Gaza Strip, the Israeli occupation army has been using "Musta'ribeen" (undercover soldiers) for special missions, most notably combing homes, searching for tunnels and "resistance fighters," and carrying out booby-trapping operations and planting explosive devices in coordination with combat units.
In another statement, the Qassam Brigades said it "targeted two D9 military bulldozers with 105-mm Al-Yassin missiles northeast of the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood on September 22."
On September 21, the Israeli occupation army announced the deepening of its ground operations in Gaza City, as part of a plan approved by its government to gradually occupy the Strip. Implementation began on August 11.
According to numerous international reports, Israel imposes strict military censorship on its media regarding human and material losses resulting from strikes by "Palestinian factions." This is for several reasons, including maintaining Israeli morale.
Due to the complex combat conditions in Gaza, the Qassam Brigades are delaying the announcement of some of their field operations. This is primarily due to the need to ensure the safe withdrawal and return of fighters from the front lines, and to complete field verification and documentation.
With American support, Israel has been committing genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023, leaving 65,502 martyrs and 167,376 wounded, most of them children and women, and a famine that has claimed the lives of 442 Palestinians, including 147 children.
For decades, Israel has occupied Palestine and territories in Syria and Lebanon, and refuses to withdraw from these territories and establish an independent Palestinian state with East Jerusalem as its capital, based on the pre-1967 borders.
