Mexicali, November 23.- As part of a strategy to regularize late payments for water services and increase revenue to carry out infrastructure projects to bring water to communities, Baja California Governor Marina del Pilar Ávila Olmeda announced the forgiveness of up to 100 percent of surcharges and fines for non-payment by domestic, commercial, and industrial users.
During the "Morning Wednesday with Marina del Pilar" conference held in Mexicali, the state leader explained that to obtain the 100 percent discount, the debt must be settled in a single payment.
Marina del Pilar explained that users can also qualify for a 100 percent discount on fines and a 75 percent discount on surcharges if they make an initial contribution and cover the debt in up to 12 monthly payments for domestic users and six monthly payments for businesses, industries, and institutions
