Aprilia Racing rider Marco Bezzecchi secured pole position for the 2025 San Marino MotoGP race at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli in Italy after securing the best result in the qualifying session.
Quoted from the MotoGP page, the man familiarly known as Bez outperformed his opponents with the fastest lap time of one minute 30.134 seconds.
Bezzechi finished 0.1 seconds ahead of his closest rival, BK8 Gresini Racing rider Alex Marquez. Monster Energy Yamaha rider Fabio Quartararo took third place at the start.
Initially, in the second qualification (Q2), Marc Marquez appeared promising by being the fastest.
However, Marc Marquez's time record was slowly surpassed, including by his younger brother Alex Marquez.
When it was predicted that Marquez would take pole position, Bezzecchi emerged with a convincing pace and managed to lead the qualifying.
Marc Marquez himself had to be satisfied starting the race from the fourth row behind Quartararo.
