Tijuana, September 21.- Renewing urban infrastructure based on planning and regulation, as well as strengthening mobility initiatives for the benefit of Tijuana residents, are among the strategic projects that will be promoted by the municipal administration headed by Mayor-elect Ismael Burgueño Ruiz, who will take office on October 1.
Burgueño Ruiz announced that during his administration, sustainable projects will be implemented that will positively impact the quality of life of Tijuana families and address the most pressing urban and social issues. To achieve this, he said, coordinated efforts between the public and the three levels of government will be essential.
"My government plan will incorporate actions and initiatives that respond to the needs of Tijuana, a dynamic and constantly developing city. We know, for example, that traffic congestion, a result of population growth, is one of the most pressing demands of citizens, and we will work diligently on that," he stated.
Modernizing urban infrastructure to ensure optimal road conditions, improving the public transportation system, and fostering a stronger road safety culture that guarantees efficient and safe mobility for all are just some of the actions outlined in the work plan of the 25th Tijuana City Council, which will be led by Ismael Burgueño Ruiz.
