Tecate, October 25. A man named Fernando Anhuar Armenta Arámbula was sentenced to 25 years in prison for murdering his partner and the mother of his daughter in 2022, in an incident that occurred in the town of Bosques del Cóndor, Tecate.
According to the investigation carried out by the State Attorney General's Office (FGE), on October 6, 2022, Armenta Arámbula was inside a home, located on a dirt road, which he shared with the person who in life bore the name of Beatriz, mother of two girls, one 10 years old and the other four months old, the latter being the daughter of the accused.
They had been living there as a family for about a month, having recently arrived from the state of Sinaloa.
Around 9 p.m., the convicted man began arguing with his common-law wife and then set fire to the house and some gas mines with a lighter. At that moment, the man began beating the woman and pushed her into the flames, rendering her unconscious. He then stabbed her in the chest and strangled her, causing her death.
