CETYS University teachers are trained as entrepreneurship facilitators.

Tijuana, July 22. A total of 25 faculty members from the College of Business and Administration at CETYS University participated in the intensive training program "Entrepreneurship Facilitators," offered by the Wadhwani Foundation, a philanthropic institution dedicated to promoting economic development in emerging countries.

The training was conducted as part of a collaboration agreement signed between CETYS University and the Wadhwani Foundation. The purpose of the agreement is to prepare teachers to teach entrepreneurship classes using the IGNITE methodology developed by the Wadhwani Foundation.

Guadalupe Sánchez Vélez, director of the CETYS School of Business and Administration, stated that they seek to have academics leverage the tools and methodology from a global perspective in their strategies.

The Wadhwani Foundation's methodology includes entrepreneurship training with a cutting-edge international approach, expert masterclasses, access to mentors, case study-based activities, and networking.

Maritza Cámara Jiménez, one of the trainers for the Wadhwani Foundation program, noted that the goal is to develop the skills of teachers who teach at CETYS' three Business and Administration schools.
