Civil Defense in Gaza: The occupation is practicing "ethnic cleansing" and has reached "the level of blind madness" in its bombing.

The agency explained in a statement that "the residents of Gaza City are now being subjected to ethnic cleansing, and the occupation has reached the level of blind madness in its bombing of schools housing displaced persons and residential buildings located in densely populated neighborhoods," noting that this has led to the martyrdom of dozens of civilians and the injury of hundreds more.

The statement stressed that the city is witnessing "widespread Israeli targeting and destruction of what remains of its residential buildings, with the aim of forcing citizens to leave, in implementation of the occupation's policy of emptying the city of its residents and pushing them towards what it calls the narrow humanitarian zone in the southern Gaza Strip."

He added, "A state of extreme panic prevails among the displaced residents of Gaza City, given the lack of shelters that provide even the minimum requirements for security and safety."

At the conclusion of its statement, the Civil Defense called on countries, humanitarian organizations, and international organizations to "urgently intervene to stop the blind Israeli madness that is targeting civilians and their remaining facilities in Gaza."

Earlier on Saturday, the Government Media Office said that since August 11, the Israeli occupation army had completely destroyed 1,600 residential towers and buildings in Gaza City, and severely damaged nearly 2,000 residential towers and buildings, in addition to destroying 13,000 tents, displacing more than 100,000 people who had been living in those homes and tents.
