The Israeli ambulance service said in a statement: "A man and a woman were taken to Yoseftal Hospital in Eilat with minor injuries as a result of the drone crashing at Ramon Airport," while the Maariv newspaper reported that "several other people were in a state of panic."
Columns of smoke rose from the airport, causing panic among Israelis in and around the area, according to the newspaper.
The private Israeli Channel 13 reported that "three drones launched by the Houthis from Yemen were intercepted today (Sunday) by the Air Force in the border area with Egypt."
She added, "However, a short time later, another drone infiltrated into Israel and directly hit Ramon Airport." She added, "Magen David Adom (the ambulance service) also provided first aid to a number of people suffering from panic attacks."
For its part, the Israeli occupation army said in a statement: "A short while ago, another drone launched from Yemen fell in the Ramon Airport area, where no alarms were activated."
