Tijuana, October 23. An elderly woman died after being struck by a red and cream-colored calafia on the Zapata-Reforma highway.
The incident occurred this morning at the corner of 34th Avenue South and Diaz Ordaz Boulevard, where the woman was crossing the street.
According to witnesses, the driver of the Calafia was listening to loud music and didn't notice the woman, hitting her as he turned into the Reforma neighborhood.
Municipal Police officers arrived to secure the site while awaiting forensic services.
