Fidan: The genocide in Gaza continues, and the international community must take a stand against Israel's aggression against Qatar.

In a joint press conference with his Italian counterpart, Antonio Tajani, in Rome, Fidan explained that the pressure exerted by the international community on Israel is "insufficient and has not reached the level of deterrence." He added that the illusion Israel has created in the eyes of international public opinion over the years is gradually fading, as its true face and true intentions are revealed. "Despite the delay, we are witnessing a major awakening in the international community," he added.

The Turkish minister pointed out that the entire world has witnessed how Israel has violated all the rules considered sacred by humanity, one after another, and with indifference.

"The world, particularly Western society, is experiencing a struggle with its own values," he said, noting that this conflict between the Israeli occupation and Western values will have dire consequences.

Fidan stressed the need for greater international efforts, calling on the European Union and the United Nations to adopt more effective resolutions to stop Israel, warning that the eroding international order could collapse completely if the status quo persists.

Aggression against Qatar

Regarding the Israeli attack on Doha, the Turkish Foreign Minister praised Qatar's policy, saying, "Qatar is a country that pursues a peaceful foreign policy and engages in successful mediation activities."

He added, "The extension of Israel's expansionist policy to Qatar should alert those parties that turn a blind eye to (Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu," and called on the international community to take a stand against the Israeli aggression against Qatar.
