The final, held in front of 11,000 spectators, was a historic moment for Germany as it was their first title since 1993, making them the fourth team to hold both the FIBA World Cup and EuroBasket titles simultaneously.
Isaac Bonga emerged as the best player in the final with 20 points and 5 rebounds. Dennis Schroder, who scored 16 points and had a record 12 assists in the final, was named tournament MVP.
