Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola expressed optimism regarding Erling Haaland's condition after the striker was withdrawn early in the 1-1 draw against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
Guardiola confirmed that the medical team is still monitoring Haaland's condition.
"He hasn't trained this week. Yesterday he was recovering, but today I haven't seen him or the other players. But hopefully he'll be fine for next weekend," Guardiola was quoted as saying by SkySport.
Haaland had opened the scoring for City with a quick goal in the ninth minute of the match against Arsenal, but he was substituted with 15 minutes of normal time remaining.
