The movement said in a statement, "The enemy failed to assassinate our brothers in the negotiating delegation (it did not name them), while a number of martyrs were killed."
She explained that among the martyrs were Jihad Labad, Khalil Al-Hayya's office manager, and his son, Hammam Al-Hayya, in addition to three of his companions: Abdullah Abdul Wahid, Moamen Hassouna, and Ahmed Al-Mamluk.
In its statement, the movement also mourned Badr Al-Humaidi, a member of the Qatari Internal Security Forces (Lekhwiya), who was also killed in the attack.
Hamas stated that "the treacherous occupation's attempt to assassinate the Hamas negotiating delegation in Doha is a heinous crime, a blatant aggression, and a flagrant violation of all international norms and laws."
She added that the operation represents "an aggression against the sovereignty of the sisterly State of Qatar, which, along with sisterly Egypt, is playing an important role in sponsoring mediation and efforts aimed at halting the aggression and reaching a ceasefire agreement and prisoner exchange."
She pointed out that the assassination attempt "reveals the criminal nature of the occupation and its efforts to undermine any chances of reaching an agreement."

The movement held "the US administration jointly responsible with the occupation for this crime, due to its constant support for the aggression and crimes of the occupation against our people."
She pointed out that this attack demonstrated "that the Zionist occupation is an imminent threat to the region and the world, and that Netanyahu is trying to erase our national cause and the rights of our people, pushing them toward forced displacement, continuing with his criminal plans for genocide, ethnic cleansing, starvation, and displacement."
The movement affirmed that "this cowardly assassination attempt will not change our clear positions and demands, which are: an immediate cessation of aggression against our people, a complete withdrawal of the occupation army from the Gaza Strip, a genuine prisoner exchange, and relief and reconstruction for our people."
Earlier on Tuesday, Qatar announced that Israel had launched a "cowardly attack targeting the residential headquarters of several members of Hamas's political bureau in Doha," noting that it had launched an investigation and would not tolerate this reckless Israeli behavior.
Hours earlier, the Israeli military announced that it had attacked the "Hamas leadership" in Doha, using its air force, in cooperation with the Shin Bet security service.
