Hamas: The world now knows, after the aggression on Qatar, the truth about the party obstructing the agreement.

On Tuesday, the Israeli occupation army targeted a residential compound housing Hamas leaders, resulting in their safe passage. Hamam, the son of Hamas leader in Gaza, Khalil al-Hayya, was killed, along with his office director, Jihad Labad, three aides, and a Qatari security officer. Tel Aviv claimed responsibility for the attack.

In an interview with Al Jazeera, Hamdan said, "The attempted assassination of the delegation is a direct attack on President Trump's card. If the Israelis accept it, they should listen to Hamas's response, rather than respond by bombing Doha and the meeting venue."

He explained that the Israeli position, since its refusal to respond to the mediators' paper on August 18, "has clearly been a coup against the negotiating process and the pursuit of a settlement that would halt the aggression on Gaza and lead to the release of prisoners."

He stated that the movement is awaiting the outcome of the efforts and contacts being made by Qatar and Egypt, "to see if there are any American intentions to pressure Israel to achieve a final ceasefire."

Hamdan pointed out that "the diplomatic efforts made by Egypt and Qatar at various points were close to achieving a breakthrough, but the occupation government kept obstructing them either through assassinations or renewed aggression in Gaza, the latest of which was the attack on Doha."

Tel Aviv estimates that there are 48 Israeli prisoners in Gaza, 20 of whom are still alive. More than 10,800 Palestinians are languishing in its prisons, suffering torture, starvation, and medical neglect. Several of these Palestinians have been martyred, according to Palestinian and Israeli human rights and media reports.

Hamas has repeatedly affirmed its willingness to release Israeli prisoners "in one batch" in exchange for ending the war of extermination, withdrawing the Israeli occupation army from Gaza, and releasing Palestinian prisoners. However, Netanyahu, who is wanted by international justice, is evading the offer by insisting on continuing the occupation of Gaza.

The Israeli genocide left 64,756 Palestinians dead, 164,059 wounded, most of them children and women, hundreds of thousands displaced, and a famine that claimed the lives of 413 Palestinians, including 143 children, as of Friday
