Tijuana, August 23. On the afternoon of Thursday, August 22, municipal police officers arrested a man who attacked them with a firearm as they attempted to stop him on Gustavo Díaz Ordaz Boulevard.
Officers were conducting a preventative patrol in the area, where they observed a man concealing an object in his clothing, while several people began shouting that he had a firearm .
Seeing the officers approaching, the suspect pulled out his weapon and fired repeatedly before attempting to escape, but was arrested at the scene.
The subject identified himself as Ernesto “N”, 26 years old, captured with a .45 caliber weapon, loaded with nine useful cartridges, who stated that his brother had been killed days before and he was going to avenge his death .
This person was brought before the competent authority to initiate the investigation file.
