Tijuana, July 16.—In the Senate, we are clear on the importance of legislating on personal data protection, and we can further expand the regulatory framework, admitted Senator Ricardo Monreal Ávila.
He made this statement after the first virtual forum on personal data protection was held in the Senate of the Republic, entitled "The Reality of Personal Data Protection in Mexico and Latin America."
"Today, the exploitation of personal data is an important niche for commercial use by the private sector," stated the president of the Political Coordination Board.
