Indonesia and the United Arab Emirates have established cooperation to strengthen the capacity of government services in both countries through the exchange of experiences and expertise, particularly in the field of new technologies.
Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital (Wamenkomdigi) Nezar Patria explained that this collaboration is a follow-up to the meeting between the Indonesian Government and the United Arab Emirates Government last week.
"The key point in today's activity regarding our cooperation with the United Arab Emirates is strengthening the government's capacity to adopt or adapt new technologies," Nezar said in South Jakarta on Monday.
Furthermore, Nezar explained, the Indonesia-United Arab Emirates cooperation covers five aspects: innovation, increasing competitiveness, government skills and performance, improving government services, and adopting new technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI).
