Indonesian male rock climber Tri Ramadani qualified for the men's lead semifinals of the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) Climbing World Cup Koper 2025 in Slovenia on Friday, with impressive results in the qualifying round.
Based on IFSC data quoted in Jakarta, Tri ranked ninth out of all participants, with a total of 41 points on the first route and 42+ on the second route.
This achievement entitled him to advance to the semifinals, according to IFSC regulations which only allow the 24 best climbers from the qualifying round.
Meanwhile, another Indonesian athlete, Muhammad Rizky Syahrafli Simatupang, has not succeeded in following in Tri's footsteps after being ranked 53rd.
Rizky collected 22 points on the first route and 29 points on the second route with a total score of 49.36.
