Tijuana, July 2.- The Senate is analyzing a proposal to strengthen the level of protection and restrictions on activities at urban and natural beaches , those located next to protected areas and far from towns.
They are valuable, special, and complex sites and offer unique opportunities for recreation, maritime trade, and job creation for the communities located there, said PRI Senator Manuel Añorve Baños when presenting the initiative.
It is necessary to develop a special regime for the occupation and use of these areas, the legislator argued regarding the proposal that reforms and adds various articles of the General Law on Ecological Balance and Environmental Protection to Strengthen the Preservation of Mexican Beaches.
