PT Indosat Tbk will focus on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) for drama and gaming broadcast services in collaboration with Chinese technology company Tencent.
"So today, we just signed an MoU and I'm very excited. We want to make sure with the help of Tencent and their mini-programs that we can give our customers what they love most, which is gaming. And also for IM3 customers, it's very difficult for female customers, so we were able to produce mini-dramas," said Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison President Director and CEO Vikram Sinha, who was met by ANTARA in Shenzhen.
Vikram was in Shenzhen to attend the Tencent Global Digital Ecosystem Summit 2025 which was attended by various technology business players including GoTo Group, CP Group, e& UAE, Orange, Com2uS, AstraZeneca, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, BMW, Walmart China and others.
"We believe that with Tencent's help and incorporating it into our super app through the Tencent Cloud CDN (Content Delivery Network), we will be able to scale our business. This is just the beginning. We are also looking at co-investing in AI infrastructure and how we can expand our app," Vikram said.
The AI Infra in question is a Tencent Cloud service designed to optimize infrastructure when companies implement large-scale model development and training.
