The mixed doubles pair of Joseph Marcellino Kyta/Syafiqa Aliya are preparing their physical condition to face the final round of the 2025 Yonex-Sunrise Doubles Special Championships which will take place at the Daihatsu Yonex-Sunrise Candra Wijaya International Badminton Center (DYSCWIBC), Serpong, Banten.
Joseph/Syafiqa secured their ticket to the final round after overcoming fierce resistance from Ardiola Dionilo/Nadia Pritasari in a rubber game, 21-12, 12-21, 21-15.
Joseph/Syafiqa will face Moses Andar Simatupang/Reya Azzahra Yulianti of Taqi Arena Badminton Academy. Moses/Reya advanced to the final after defeating Alfa Wahyudinata/Lilyan Sari Wibowo (Jaya Raya-Tangkas) 21-16, 19-21, 21-13.
