Luxury fashion brand company faces data hack

Kering, the company that owns luxury fashion brands such as Gucci, Yves Saint Lauren, Balenciaga, and Alexander McQueen, has faced a data breach that has impacted customers of these brands.

stated that hackers stole sensitive customer data such as names, email addresses, telephone numbers, home addresses, and the total amount of money they spent in stores worldwide.

However, Kering said the hackers did not steal the credit card numbers of its fashion brand customers.

The France-based company said it had contacted customers affected by the hack, but did not say how many customers were affected.
