Tijuana, July 19.- A 55-year-old man was shot and killed this afternoon by individuals carrying high-caliber weapons in the El Triunfo neighborhood.
According to initial reports, armed men arrived at the scene in a pickup truck and, without exchanging a word, shot the now-deceased man, who was standing in the courtyard of a building near the main entrance.
The victim was found lying next to a business called "González," inside a home that had previously been a body shop and later a party hall.
Neighbors heard the gunshots and notified authorities. Red Cross paramedics attempted to revive him, but he no longer showed vital signs.
Municipal police and army officers cordoned off the area, while forensic experts from the Prosecutor's Office conducted the necessary investigations. The victim's family, who arrived minutes after the attack, identified the body.
