More than 700 families in Cerro de las Abejas are requesting a plot of land; 400 will be granted.

Tijuana, July 28.- The Institute for Real Estate and Housing Development (Indivi) conducted a census in Cerro de las Abejas to determine the total number of people seeking land, receiving more than 700 applications, despite the fact that only 400 lots can be allocated.

Indivi's general director, Abraham Ávila Delgadillo, indicated that the 400 families who will benefit will pay a symbolic amount of 100 pesos for the property, following the instructions of the head of the Executive, Jaime Bonilla Valdez.

The invaders were asked to free the slopes of Cerro de las Abejas

Ávila Delgadillo explained that during his approach, he asked the invaders to free the central areas and slopes of the hill so that the infrastructure projects designated by the Secretariat of Infrastructure, Urban Development and Territorial Reorganization (Sidurt) could be carried out.

Likewise, a press release emphasized that the land allocation will be carried out to support citizens with high levels of vulnerability, who, due to the high cost of land in Baja California, are unable to acquire space to secure their assets, given the high demand for housing among citizens.
