Artificial intelligence company OpenAI has launched its ChatGPT Go subscription service to provide easy-to-use and accessible artificial intelligence technology support to users in Indonesia.
"With ChatGPT Go, we want to make this cutting-edge AI technology easy to use and affordable so everyone can benefit from its power," said Nick Turley , Vice President and Head of ChatGPT, as quoted in the company's press release.
Indonesia was chosen as the first launch location for the service in Southeast Asia because the adoption of OpenAI's software in the country is considered to be growing rapidly, with the number of weekly active ChatGPT users increasing more than threefold in the past year.
According to OpenAI data, Indonesia is among the top five markets for ChatGPT services.
Artificial Intelligence (AI) assistants are popular in Indonesia for tutoring or teaching, learning how to do something, creating images, as well as personal writing and editing.
