Tijuana, March 15. After weeks of speculation about the Hank family's role in the 2024 electoral process, Juan Carlos Hank Krauss launched his campaign for the Senate of the Republic for the Green Ecologist Party of Mexico (PVEM), accompanied by his brother César, state leader of the Solidarity Encounter Party (PES), leaders and activists of the Green Party, as well as long-standing members of the Hankist group.
His first campaign event was in Mexicali, while in the afternoon he held a rally in Tijuana, at Teniente Guerrero Park, a landmark park for Juan Carlos because his father renovated it during his time as mayor.
César Hank opened the rally with an explanation of the legislative overlaps between the Green Party and Encuentro Solidario (PES) and announced, "We're going to fight! Juan Carlos has the full support of his family ..."
A small but highly participatory group gathered for the launch of the “ national project from Baja California” by Juan Carlos Hank, who was born and raised in this city “and I plan to stay here.”
