PT Pelindo Regional 4 held financial management training for micro and small entrepreneurs (MSMEs) in Central Sulawesi to improve the financial literacy of business actors.
"Pelindo isn't just focused on the port business. We have a vested interest in encouraging MSEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) to move up a level, as strong business actors drive the economy, including those around ports," said Pelindo Corporate Secretary Ali Sodikin in a statement received in Jakarta on Thursday.
The training includes an introduction to financial reports, break-even point calculations, accounting records, and practice in preparing general journals, ledgers, and trial balances.
The training was held in two districts simultaneously, namely Buol Regency and Tolitoli Regency, with the number of participants from each district being 50 MSMEs.
