Ensenada, January 9. People with disabilities will be exempt from paying minibus fares in Ensenada, announced Mayor Claudia Agatón Muñiz.
He reported that the municipal government reached this agreement with the transport concessionaires after holding a meeting with the general director of the Sustainable Mobility Institute (Imos) of the state, Jorge Alberto Gutiérrez Topete,
He commented that, while public transportation is the responsibility of the Baja California government, the city council has become involved in this matter to find solutions and support people with disabilities.
He noted that part of the Ensenada City Council also joined this working group with state authorities and concessionaires.
