Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has officially released top Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma to Manchester City for a transfer fee of 26 million pounds sterling in this summer's transfer window.
PSG director Luis Campos explained that Donnarumma's request for a pay rise was not in line with the club's new policy.
"The club is more important than anyone else. That's what has changed at PSG," he told RMC Sport on Tuesday.
Campos emphasized that PSG now places emphasis on salary adequacy based on player performance.
