The contract, awarded to a Spanish consortium, calls for the acquisition of 12 units of the High Mobility Rocket Launcher System (HMLS), developed from the Pulse system of the Israeli Elbit Systems group, according to the Military Balance report issued by the International Institute for Strategic Studies (AASS).
After the cancellation was reported by the local press and the Israeli newspaper Haaretz, it was officially announced on the official Spanish public contracts platform in a document dated September 9.
