The Indonesian Free Farmers Organization hopes that people can demonstrate or express their aspirations in an orderly and peaceful manner.
The General Chair of the National Leadership Council (DPN) of Independent Farmers, Don Muzakir, hopes that the public will not be provoked by issues whose truth is currently unclear.
"Any differences of opinion must be channeled through polite and constitutional means," said Don at the Tani Merdeka press conference in Jakarta, Sunday.
Tani Merdeka respects every aspiration expressed through demonstrations, however, activities that take place in an unruly manner can be detrimental to various parties, including the community itself.
