In response, the Yemeni group's military spokesman, Yahya Saree, said in a statement: "Our air defenses are currently confronting the Israeli aircraft launching an aggression against our country."
He added, "The air defenses caused great confusion for the enemy aircraft, forcing some of their combat formations to leave the airspace before carrying out their aggression. Their incursion into the depths was thwarted, thanks be to God."
Israeli raids on Houthi-controlled areas in Yemen began in July 2024, targeting vital facilities, including the port of Hodeidah, Sana'a International Airport, and power stations.
