Youth and Sports Minister Erick Thohir said the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) cannot be funded by the government to participate in single events . .
"I've consulted with the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) earlier. We've agreed that PSSI certainly can't get government funding, especially for single events," Erick Thohir said at a press conference.
Erick, who also serves as the current Chairman of PSSI, explained that government funding support is only for multi-sport events such as the SEA Games, Asian Games, Olympics, and others.
