Deputy Minister of Communication and Digital Nezar Patria stated that his office is ready to coordinate with TikTok regarding the request to reactivate the "LIVE" feature for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) who have been accustomed to using the feature.
Nezar said the government understands the concerns of MSMEs, who are now accustomed to selling digitally and are experiencing difficulties without TikTok's "LIVE" feature, which has been disabled for the past three days due to the discovery of provocative content related to demonstrations over the past week.
"We will try to build communication, and we also understand that there will be an impact on MSMEs and community activities that use the LIVE feature," Nezar said when met by reporters at the Indonesian House of Representatives.
