Tijuana, July 15.- A young man was shot on Revolución Avenue, a double execution in the Alemán neighborhood, and a man was killed at an auto body shop. These were all reported in the last 24 hours in Tijuana.
Police, firefighters, and paramedics treated a young man, approximately 25 years old, who had a gunshot wound to the chest and was lying on Revolución Avenue in downtown Tijuana.
It was approximately 11:40 p.m. when police from the tourism section received the report, requesting immediate assistance from pre-hospital personnel.
Volunteer paramedics from MediK 2000, firefighters from the Zona Norte station, and the Red Cross managed to stabilize the victim and transport him to a hospital. No ballistic evidence was found at the scene, and only the young man's bloody T-shirt remained.
For their part, the Mexican Army, National Guard, State Guard, and municipal police have implemented security checkpoints on all streets in the downtown area; however, no arrests have been reported so far.
