Young Indonesian men's singles badminton player, Moh Zaki Ubaidillah, or familiarly known as Ubed, is enthusiastic about his debut in the BWF Super 500 level tournament at the 2025 Hong Kong Open at the Hong Kong Coliseum.
The 2025 Asian Junior Champion admitted that he had prepared himself as best as possible to face competition with world-class players, even though he had to start from the qualifying round.
"I'm happy to be making my Super 500 debut. This is my chance to see and experience the competition between top-class players," Ubed said in an official statement from the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI).
"Preparations have been going pretty well since the last month. We'll start with the qualifying round, so it won't be easy to advance to the main draw. Hopefully, I can get through it," he added.
Ubed wasn't alone in this important moment. He received direct support from his partner, Alwi Farhan, who also competed in the men's singles event.
