Tijuana, June 17.- The state's Secretary of Health, Alonso Pérez Rico, assured that the supply of the coronavirus vaccine is guaranteed in Baja California, and therefore asked the population to be patient and not despair, as everyone who wants to be immunized will have a guaranteed vaccine.
“We all knew the first two or three days would be like this. We have a lot of faith in the processes we've been implementing over the last four months. There will be enough vaccine for everyone; there won't be any shortage.”
In response to public outcry about the long lines at all vaccination sites, the Health Minister announced that the centers will be open for two hours longer than previously scheduled.
"We'll be there until 6:00 p.m. at most locations. We'll cut the lines earlier. If the line is two hours away at 4:00 p.m., we'll send a guard, cut the line, and you can come tomorrow."
