Ensenada, March 9.- The State Tourism Secretariat (SECTURE) announced that whale-watching tours will continue until the second week of April in Todos Santos Bay.
The Secture indicated that these types of sightings occur in the open sea, just outside the aforementioned bay. This area is the cetacean's route, and other species such as sea lions, dolphins, pelicans, and others can be observed.
To enjoy this walk, the Section reported this series of recommendations:
- Arrive 30 minutes before departure.
- To avoid seasickness, take a motion sickness pill one hour before boarding the ship; even if you never get seasick, it's better to be safe and enjoy the trip.
- Eat a normal breakfast, as tours generally last four hours, so it's recommended to bring lunch; apples and citrus fruits are a good option.
- Dress warmly; during the winter season, the wind can be chilly even on sunny days; wear comfortable shoes and avoid high heels.
- Don't forget your camera, and if you have binoculars, even better.
He added that clouds do not determine sea conditions. If the day is cloudy but not raining and the sea is choppy, the trip is canceled; above all, he emphasized, the safety and comfort of passengers is paramount.
