Xiaomi has announced that it has dishonorably discharged a senior employee in its China marketing division, Thomas Wang, for leaking important and confidential information to an external party.
The Paper reported that this decision was announced by Xiaomi's Professional Ethics Committee and was made in accordance with the Measures for Handling Employee Misconduct and the Code of Integrity and Clean Governance.
According to the announcement, Thomas Wang was dismissed from his position after an internal compliance review revealed lapses in data handling and professional conduct.
