Xiaomi appears to be expanding its line of new tablets with a compact design for the international market, naming the product the Xiaomi Pad Mini.
This tablet was actually launched in China under the name Redmi K Pad in early 2025 but for the global version it will be changed to Xiaomi Pad Mini.
As reported by Gizmochina, Sunday (14/9), although Xiaomi has not confirmed the launch date, leaks suggest the tablet could arrive at the end of the month with the possibility of sharing the stage with the upcoming Xiaomi 15T series on September 24, 2925.
The Pad Mini is expected to retain the same hardware as the Redmi K Pad.
With that prediction, it means that this tablet might have an 8.8-inch LCD display panel with 2.5K resolution and a smooth 165Hz refresh rate.
Under the hood, there is a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset , and the battery measures 7,500mAh with 67W fast charging support.
The Xiaomi Pad Mini's body is made of metal. It has a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera.
