Allegri doesn't want AC Milan to rush into thinking about the Scudetto

AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri said his team does not want to rush into thinking about the Scudetto, or winning the Italian League title, now that they are currently at the top of the standings.

Milan finished the seventh week of the 2025/2026 Serie A season at the top of the table with 16 points after defeating Fiorentina 2-1 at the San Siro Stadium on Monday, WIB.

"We didn't send any message. It was a win; we need more points to achieve our goals this season. We hope to have Loftus-Cheek or Nkunku available for the next game, but otherwise, we'll stick with this group of players. We just need to keep going and not get ahead of ourselves," Allegri said, as quoted by Football Italia on Monday.

Robin Gosens gave the visitors an early lead in the 55th minute. However, a fine performance from Rafael Leao earned the Rossoneri their fifth league win, with goals in the 63rd minute and a penalty in the 86th.

Leao's two goals made the Rossoneri become "capolista" by taking advantage of three defeats from their rivals, namely AS Roma, Napoli, and Juventus.
