Former Everton manager Sean Dyche is reportedly close to becoming Nottingham Forest's new manager, replacing Ange Postecoglou, who was recently sacked after failing to win in eight matches, including a 0-3 defeat to Chelsea on Saturday.
"Sean Dyche will sign a contract until June 2027 at Nottingham Forest. A verbal agreement has been reached between the two parties, with the former Everton manager ready to return to the Premier League," wrote journalist Fabrizio Romano, as quoted from his official X account on Monday.
If officially confirmed, Forest will be the fourth club managed by Dyche after Watford (July 2011-July 2012), Burnley (October 2012-April 2022), and Everton (January 2023-January 2025).
While coaching Everton, the English coach lasted for two years, with his record being 26 wins, 24 draws and 33 losses from a total of 83 matches in all competitions.
