Manchester United (MU) coach Ruben Amorim said that tactical issues were the reason striker Benjamin Sesko was placed on the bench in the 2025/2026 Premier League match against Liverpool which MU won 2-1.
"Sometimes the nature of the game demands a different approach. I have to do what's best for the team," Amorim said, as quoted on the Manchester United (MU) website in Jakarta on Monday.
Sesko's absence from the start of the match has been questioned by some, as the Slovenian had scored in both of Manchester United's Premier League matches before facing Liverpool.
