Liverpool captain and center-back Virgil van Dijk said his team was careless and rushed, which led to their defeat to Manchester United (MU) in the 2025/2026 Premier League match at Anfield Stadium.
"I don't think we were able to control the game in the best way," said Van Dijk, as quoted from Liverpool's website in Jakarta, Monday.
According to the Dutch defender, Liverpool's carelessness was evident when MU scored the second goal through Harry Maguire's header in the 84th minute.
