Technology company Apple has doubled its highest bounty for discovering system vulnerabilities, or bug bounty, from US$1 million (around Rp16 billion) to US$2 million (around Rp33 billion).
Apple will reward cybersecurity researchers who discover exploit chains that are comparable to sophisticated paid spyware attacks and require no user interaction.
Engadget reported on Friday (10/10) that it is possible that the maximum reward that researchers can get will reach 5 million US dollars (around Rp. 83 billion) if their findings are more critical, for example bugs in beta software or bypassing Lockdown Mode, an improved security architecture in the Safari browser service .
