Apple CEO Tim Cook on Wednesday (15/10) committed that his company will continue to increase investment in China and strengthen cooperation to achieve mutually beneficial development and win-win results.
Cook made the remarks during a meeting with Chinese Minister of Industry and Information Technology Li Lecheng in Beijing.
Li said that China's enormous market size and comprehensive industrial system create tremendous potential for investment and consumption.
He stated that China will continue to promote high-standard opening-up, actively advance the application of smart technologies in the process of industrialization and intelligent industrial transformation, and create a favorable business environment for foreign companies, including Apple.
"We hope Apple will continue to explore the Chinese market, actively participate in China's new industrialization, and join hands with Chinese companies across the industrial chain to realize innovation-driven development," Li added.
