Arsenal's 2-0 victory over West Ham United at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday (4/10), which took them to the top of the Premier League table, came at a heavy price with injuries to Martin Odegaard and Declan Rice.
"I think he had a knee-to-knee knock and immediately felt unwell. I just spoke to him, and he wasn't very positive about it," Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was quoted as saying on the club's official website.
Odegaard was seen wearing a knee brace after the match. Arteta said the medical team would conduct further tests to determine the captain's condition. "He's wearing a knee brace, so we have to wait for the doctor's news. But so far, we haven't had much luck with injuries," he said.
