Chelsea's dramatic 2-1 victory over Liverpool at Stamford Bridge is believed to have been a key milestone in building a close relationship between manager Enzo Maresca and the club's supporters.
Assistant coach Willy Caballero said a last-minute win like that could strengthen the emotional bond between Maresca and the fans.
"I believe Enzo already has a good connection with the fans, but every last-second win, especially against a big team like Liverpool or Arsenal, always adds to the excitement and pride," Caballero said, as quoted on the club's official website.
