At the annual Year in Infrastructure 2025 Conference in Amsterdam on Wednesday (15/10), US infrastructure engineering software company Bentley Systems announced major progress in developing an open platform for the built and natural environment through the integration of Cesium technology.
Bentley released reality modeling services within Cesium, adding geospatial capabilities for project management and asset performance, and introduced a new application called iTwin Engage that enables immersive collaboration across infrastructure teams and stakeholders.
Bentley Systems Chief Platform Officer Patrick Cozzi explained that the company's vision is to create an open platform that can be used to design, build, and operate infrastructure in a real-world context.
