Persija Jakarta coach Mauricio Souza has continued to schedule his team's routine training in the morning, despite the recent high temperatures in Jakarta and its surrounding areas.
The team nicknamed the Kemayoran Tigers usually holds routine training from 08.00 to 11.00 WIB.
"The heat is felt by everyone, both local and Brazilian players. In Brazil, it's sometimes cold, sometimes hot, and can even reach 40 degrees Celsius. I actually prefer afternoon training, but lately, it's been raining a lot in the afternoons and there's been a lot of lightning, which makes it risky. That's why we decided to train in the morning to avoid the risk of canceling training," Souza said when met at the Persija Training Ground in Depok.
